Updates:
We're almost back in business! The old furniture/boxes were delivered, and (most of) the new furniture delivered/installed, so it's beginning to take shape! We are slated for installation of the sliding doors (the last "biggie" item) sometime next week, so we are hopeful to be ready to go with a grand re-opening on Monday, 2/10!
Parking:
A few notes here:
- The PortaPotty should be headed off sometime soon (by Tuesday, I've decreed!) so we're almost back to normal parking!
- No need to leave the spaces closest to the back library door open anymore, and feel free to walk through the library!
- Kevin is relocating "his" spot one spot closer to the playground; this will leave the spot right next to the handicapped spot open for Andy to have easy access for loading/unloading the big red truck. Thanks for helping us make sure he has appropriate access!

Shout Outs!!!!
- To Liz and Jane, and Emily and Gina, for allllll the hard work, preparation, and support in getting our 3rd graders geared up and ready for the Chicago World's Fair!
- To Denise for the time and energy poured into our Science Expo experience; what an exciting day!
- Michele Spiegel, Janet Schoneman, and many, many others, all who jump into duties when others are absent!
- For Lisa Gi., Lori, Kerry, Sean, Anna, and Gini for their perseverance and strength through a long, arduous -- but critical! -- day of data review!
- From Tara: Kudos to Kerry for putting in long hours this year. I typically stay late ( and arrive after 8:00!) and this year, Kerry is usually here when I leave and already here when I get here in the morning! Thursday night, she was still here when I left at 6:00. I know she has some challenging students and parents this year!
- From Ryan: Besides the World Fair being amazing, I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate Liz and Jane scheduling it during their own PE times. It really makes it a lot easier (especially in the winter) when we aren't in the classroom of trying to get outside.
