May 31 2022

Dear Beal Families,

Happy Tuesday after a beautiful Memorial Day weekend! We are so thankful for the kind weather and great energy at our All School Meeting last Wednesday. This was our first time coming together as a full school community including families. We are hopeful this is a sign to come for the future of Beal School!

This past week we also celebrated our performing and visual arts departments. Last weekend, the Elementary Spring Arts Festival was held at Beal and displayed beautiful work from all elementary grades across Shrewsbury. On Tuesday, May 26th, our 4th Grade Choir performed two wonderful shows. Congratulations to all of our students and staff for celebrating the importance of the arts at Beal School.

Please enjoy the short week as we begin our final three week push of school.

REMINDER! 2022-2023 Bus Registration is Open

We are pleased to announce the official opening of the 2022-2023 bus registration process. The bus registration process will be open from now until June 30th. It will be closed from July 1st until early August and will re-open on approximately August 8th. We have 3 important messages to highlight here:

  1. Bus registration and payment must be done via the PowerSchool Parent Portal for students attending Shrewsbury Public Schools and via the Google Form for students attending Assabet Valley Reg. Technical High School and all private schools. There is no “processing charge/convenience fee” for online payment of the bus fee and both credit cards and debit cards are accepted.
  2. All of the regulations and rules pertaining to bus ridership eligibility and the requirement to pay a fee are posted on our website under the Transportation link. Please read them carefully and access the FAQ if you have questions.
  3. If your child has a negative food service account balance or owes a fee for some other additional service, then you will be blocked from bus registration until all overdue payments are made.

The bus fee for the 2022-2023 school year is $320/student with a $960 family cap. For all in-district students, please register now by clicking here. If your child will be attending Assabet or a private school located in Shrewsbury for the 2022-2023 school year, please click here. If you have any questions, please email
