Ray Krock

Ray Kroc was an american bussinessman and philanthropist. Krock joined mccdonalds in 1954 and built it into the most successful food operation in the world.

Training recieved

In 1961, Kroc launched a training program, later called Hamburger University, at a new restaurant in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. There, franchisees and operators were trained on the proper methods for running a successful McDonald’s restaurant.

In 1917, 15-year-old Ray Kroc lied about his age to join the Red Cross as an ambulance driver, but the war ended before he completed his training. He then worked as a piano player, a paper cup salesman and a Multi-mixer salesman.

Net Worth: By the time of Rays death Mcdonalds had 7,500 locations in 31 countries, and was worht 8 billion. His personal fortune was estimated at 500 million.

he was 52 when he thought of the idea overnight to make a restraunt in 1954, he visited a restaurant in San Bernardino, California that had purchased several Multi-mixers. There he found a small but successful restaurant run by brothers Dick and Mac McDonald, and was stunned by the effectiveness of their operation.
