ARTICLE IV: LEGISLATIVE DEPARTMENT
Composition of legislature: yes, house of the people and the upper house
Apportionment; district boundaries: By how many people are in a certain area. 3. when numbers in that certain area go up or down.
Terms of office of senators and representatives; vacancies: New senators get elected with every new presidential election. In an absence the next person under them would take over the position.
Qualification of legislators: at least 35, been involved in some sort of business job, can serve 3 terms. (12 years)
Compensation. 150,000 a year. The people can only make the salary go up, we would take a vote and if the people think they are doing a good job, the salary goes up.
Privilege from arrest. no, if they do something against the law, they will be arrested.
Meetings; length of session; special sessions: 2 times a month. 2 hours the president can call a special session. has to be something very important
Quorum. at least ¾ must be present

ARTICLE VI: JUDICIARY
Judicial power. there will be one supreme court
Supreme Court: 5. they will hear only the most important cases
Qualifications; compensation. have to have a degree in law. if they see fit to do their job the president will decide if their pay goes up or down. starts at 100,000.
Term of office; election. judges serve for life, and they will be appointed.
Vacancy: the president gets to appoint a judge to a vacant position that occurs in the middle of a term.
ARTICLE VII: ELECTIONS
Eligibility; ineligible persons. people 18 and older.
Eligibility to hold office: any person over 30, having lived in the US for 10+ years. they can serve 2 terms. 8 years.
Official year of state: Jan 1st
Campaign spending limits: max of 20,000.
ARTICLE VIII: IMPEACHMENT AND REMOVAL FROM OFFICE
Impeachment powers: congress has the power, along with the president. 60% of votes are needed to impeach someone.
Recall: depending on the severity of the “something wrong”they could be removed just like a president would. the president will eventually decide on the matter. and the next runner up behind them will take over.
ARTICLE IX: AMENDMENTS
Amendments; ratification: 80% of votes are needed to amend the constitution. the governors could out their vote in to help decide what’s best. the people would not vote on it, only their representatives.
