Wildcat Wellness
Wildcat Students - We want to promote positive and collaborative relationships between all the members of our Wildcat Family. This year we will implement "Wildcat Brag" notes that you can send to recognize a teacher, administrator, counselor, or support staff member that has really made a positive impact on your time here in Wildcat Nation. We will accept these forms all year long and we will be sharing your positive remarks about those being recognized by you.
Students this form will allow you to let the whole school know why your teacher, administrator, counselor, etc. is GREAT. Please submit the following information regarding a member of the wildcat staff that you would like to put in the spotlight. Make sure to let them know exactly why they are important to you. If you would like to remain anonymous make sure to check that on the form. Only POSITIVE comments please!

NEWS FROM THE NURSE
COVID 19:
If your student has tested positive for COVID-19, please fill out the Student Reporting Form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeUoryQkdKGtboJNfK6zU1zw_6SmYXHxxSlPRBGdisPlbR9Ew/viewform”
Medicines & Prescriptions:
Under state law, possession of any kind of medicine can have serious consequences. All medications must be in their original container with student’s prescription label, stored with, and dispensed by the school nurse. Parents must also turn in a completed Medication Request Form for each medicine. Forms are available at school and at https://www.pisd.edu/health (Then click on Health Forms.) State mandated vaccinations must be up to date. A COVID-19 vaccination for students is not required.
Absence approvals
We are providing you easy access to the Student Absence Request. This request will also be located on our Plano Senior High School website. This form is essential for your student to receive full credit for assigned work during extended absences for unusual circumstances. Family trips, death in the family, and non-sponsored athletic extended events are examples of when you would want to submit this form to your Student Center Assistant Principal. Please submit this form at least one week in advance of the anticipated absence. Your Student Center Assistant Principal will approve the absence and notify your child’s teachers to accept the assignments for full credit.
Free Meals for All Students
In accordance with the United States Department of Agriculture, Plano ISD Food and Nutritional Services will offer all students access to free reimbursable breakfast and lunch meals every school day during the 2021-2022 academic year, regardless of household income. A la carte items will be available for purchase. Menu information can be found on the Food and Nutritional Services (FANS) website.
Food served in the cafeteria consists of the five food groups; meat/meat alternate, grains, vegetables, fruits, and milk. In order for a student breakfast to be considered reimbursable, the meal must include a minimum of three food items, one of which must be a fruit. A student lunch must include a minimum of three different food groups, one of which must be a fruit or a vegetable to be considered a reimbursable meal. If minimum requirements for a student reimbursable meal are not met, a la carte prices will be charged.

Campus Volunteers
Thank you for your interest in volunteering in Plano ISD. We greatly appreciate your willingness to invest your time and efforts into supporting Plano ISD students, families and staff.
All volunteers will need to create an account and complete an application, online orientation and criminal history check through the Plano ISD volunteer management system, VOLY, to be eligible for district/school volunteer opportunities. Please visit plano.voly.org to create a volunteer account and begin this process. These items will need to be completed by volunteers each school year.
Please note that the application and background check consent can be completed on any device; however, the volunteer orientation requires a laptop or desktop and cannot be completed on a mobile device.
