Ensuring ALL Students Learn to Their Fullest Potential
Lemoore Elementary School
Principal's Message
It is hard to believe that we have already been in school for over three weeks! Our students have come in ready to learn and have settled into the daily routines. Students have begun the check out books from our newly renovated library and are learning to "ROAR" throughout the day. We are working on lessons to ensure safe, responsible and respectful learners. Whether we are in the classroom, in the halls, in the cafeteria, outside at recess, or in another areas of the school, we will be spending time reviewing our school’s expectations and how it should look and sound to be appropriate in school. Students are reminded to ROAR everyday. ROAR stands for: Respect, On-Task, Achieve, and Responsibility. These are the core of our school-wide expectations for academics and behavior.
Thank you playing a vital role in your child’s success at school. You can help by asking your child about his/her day and reading to or with your child every night. You would be amazed what 20 minutes of reading with your child each night will do her his/her language development and reading skills. Thank you for all your support.
Help with Drop-off and Dismissal
Also, during drop-off, please do not drop students off in the middle of the parking lots. To drop-off from the Jefferson Parking lot (lot in front of the cafeteria) please pull into a parking spot. It is not safe to drop students off in the middle of the lot and it blocks traffic delaying the buses.
At dismissal, please do not block the driveways or park in the middle of the parking lots. Also, students and adults need to use the crosswalks and not cross into the middle of traffic in front of the office or bike racks; this is also not safe.
When using the loading and unloading zone, yellow marked curb, students will not be allowed to cross the traffic lane to get into a vehicle. All vehicles need to pull up to the yellow curb for loading. Please do not double park.
Thank you for your help in keeping students safe,
Ms. Garcia
