EFFECTS OF BLIZZARD
During the Blizzard in New York in 1996 it took a couple of days to recover from the 3ft of snow. A few people died of heart attacks trying to get rid of the large amount of snow. Many people decided to ski because their regular modes of transportation were cut off by the snow. People tried to shovel the snow off the street. Many animals died of either frostbite, severe cold, or starvation. Animals had to develop layers of fat to protect from the cold.
