A Letter from Principal Dwyer
Dear DuJardin School Community,
Illinois Assessment for Readiness (IAR) testing for students in third through fifth grades begins Monday, May 17th and will continue through Wednesday, May 19th, (makeup testing will take place starting May 20th). Here is a checklist to help your child do his or her best on these tests:
1. Ensure that your child attends school on the days of testing;
2. Ensure that your child gets a good nightās sleep on the nights before testing;
3. Providing a healthy breakfast, snack, and lunch on the days of testing;
4. Remind your child to ask questions if he/she does not understand the test directions;
5. Let your child know that you have confidence in his/her ability to do his/her best;
6. Advise your child not to worry about the test ā just do the best he/she can do.

Westfield Drama Presents KING MIDAS: Live Stream Today (5/6) @ 7:00 PM
Dear District #13:
We would like to invite you and your families to join us tomorrow night for our production of King Midas and the Touch of Gold! The show starts at 7:00 PM and you can access the live stream, using your @sd13.org account, at this link. In addition, we will be holding a Q and A immediately following the show, so if you have any questions or comments for the cast/crew, please enter them here.

This will be Mrs. Bringer's final production at Westfield. Fun Fact: this was also the very first production that she worked on at the start of her D13 career. We have several members of the first production returning to help with this show, who will be present for the Q and A. (Laura Reece (king), Andy Greskoviak (citizen #1), Missy Mills (Chloe), Kryssi Uhl (Shepherdess), Sara Eagleton (spot light) and Andrea Pierie (Student director).
So set a reminder on your phone and we hope that you will be watching!!! I can guarantee your experience will be GOLDEN!!!

The Roselle Community Food Pantry has expanded. We are now serving residents of Roselle, Medinah, and Bloomingdale. These have been challenging times for all of us. If you know someone who has been struggling to make ends meet, who could use help with groceries: WE CAN HELP!
We provide nonāperishable food, fresh produce, dairy, meat and basic
household items. All clients welcomed with proof of current residency.
No income requirements.

Westfield Summer Basketball/Summer Camps
The dates and times have been set for both basketball and soccer summer camps. The camps are for any incoming 1st thru 6th graders (the grade your child will be in the Fall). If you are interested in having your child attend one or both of these camps, then please click on the registration link here. Thank you to the DJ staff for ordering box lunches and to ALL the DJ Families for attending the fundraiser last Tuesday night.
