A Slice About Southern Colonies Region
Maryland, Virginia, North and South Carolina, and Georgia. Are all the colonies in the Southern Region. It is a great place for growing cash crops. It has lots of rivers that they used for transportation. Most of the people there are not very weathly. But they sure know how to get things done.
Southern Style Climate
It is warm and that's perfect for growing crops like rice an tobacco are the most important cash crops. They didn't just farm they also fished too. In the winters they didn't worry much because it usually just stayed cool or still warm. For some people but the warm was nice an positive but moist climate carried diseases that killed some colonists.
Plains
Just some small hills grassy meadows. Good fertile ground great for farming.
Farming Plains
Some more plains that look like they have been mowed recently or its a farm that's ready for harvest.
A Lake
This is a lake that people back then would use this as a trae route. And a good water source for water and food such as fishing.
Agriculture Southern Style
They grew wheat, barley, oats, rye, and corn. They would trade these crops with other colonies. You may wonder how they may get there they would either hike but most of the time if they had a raft or a boat they would travel through the lakes.
Southern Colonies Industry
The southern sold tobacco and lumber. They also sold there live stock sometimes and there crops to anything they could gets there hands of to make stuff out of to sell they got. This helped them to make sure they were all doing something. And not just sitting there doing nothing.
