East Elementary Carnival... A New Tradition!

Thank you to everyone that came together to make our first ever East carnival such a success! Our wonderful PTA officers worked closely with our campus staff to plan and execute a truly wonderful event. We had over 1,000 people here to collect meaningful take home activities, learn more about our spring reading challenge, participate in our silent auction, and just enjoy the night. Our PTA was able to raise almost $3,000 that will be put back into needs we have on our campus. We look forward to next year!

3rd Grade STAAR Parent Meeting and Lock-In

On Friday, April 12th, we will host our annual 3rd Grade STAAR Parent Meeting and Lock-In. This meeting will provide you with necessary information to help your child be successful on their upcoming state assessments. AND your 3rd graders won’t want to miss the best night of the year!

If you are in attendance at our meeting, you may then leave your child with us for a 3rd Grade Lock In. Students will be fed pizza, can be dropped off beginning at 5:45 p.m. and will need to be picked up at 8:45 p.m. For more information, you may access the note that was sent home by clicking here.

Our Spring Book Challenge - Meet Ralph!

Whether you were able to attend our spring parent night or not, you are invited to participate in a Spring Reading Challenge with your family. Each East family should have now received a copy of The Motorcycle and the Mouse along with a reading log and journal questions. We invite you to read this book with your children and return the completed log to your child's teacher by May 17th.

All students that submit their completed logs will earn a Reading Saves the Day spirit stick and families will be entered into a drawing for a Family Fun Basket which will include family fun passes to a surprise destination, a Chicfila gift card, and the next book in the Ralph series. One basket per grade level will be given away.
