Very Important Information for 6th Grade Parents & Students
From Nurse Rosa: If you know that your child has had the Tdap vaccine that is required for attendance in 7th grade, please call your pediatrician/family doctor and have them fax an updated and complete immunization record to 864-332-5329. Nurse Rosa has very few forms with the Tdap recorded on them.
If you are unsure, please contact your doctor and make an appointment! Please do this as soon as possible to avoid any problems regarding school entrance next year. DHEC does consider this a “suspension” if you miss school days due to not having the vaccine. You will not be able to start or attend school for the 7th grade year until this vaccine is completed.

The Information Technology Services Department will provide technical support to all staff, students, and parents during eLearning days.
How do I reach eLearning Technical Support?
You can reach the support team by calling:
864-222-4911
What kinds of problems will ITS eLearning Support be able to assist me with?
We will do our best to provide support on any issues related to the use of District Five technology to complete eLearning assignments. We will be limited in our ability to provide support on home wireless networks due to the wide range of potential problems that could arise during a weather event.
When will this support be available?
Support personnel will be available to take your call between the hours of 8 am and 3:45 pm on eLearning days. Due to the expected call volume- if you receive a busy signal, or are unable to reach someone, please be sure to try back at the number listed above.

Anderson 5 Needs Bus Drivers
Each day Anderson School District Five transports nearly 6,000 students via bus to and from our schools. The goal of our transportation services department is to ensure that our students arrive to and from school safely and on time, but we need your help. Due to statewide bus driver shortages, the school district is offering a $500 referral incentive to any person who recommends a bus driver that is successfully employed a minimum of six months with Anderson Five. Our bus drivers earn the highest hourly rate in Anderson County, and max out at the highest rate in the Upstate. They are guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week, and they have no mandatory summer hours - but more importantly they play a critical role in our school system. Again, if someone you know is interested in serving their community while at the same time earning great benefits, please contact our office at 864-260-5000 ext. 10287.
