You can register your student(s) on our website. Registration assures that we have all of the correct student information on file. It also helps us understand class sizes, staffing needs, and to ensure we have a schedule for your child created before the school year. Fees will not be charged until July 1.

If you are unable to register online, we will have assistance available this summer starting on June 8. Parents can come the KCSD Business Office on Tuesdays from 8:30am-10 am or Thursdays from 2:30-4pm.

On Tuesday, May 18 KCSD School Board voted to make masks optional for students and staff, beginning Wednesday, May 19, 2021. The board's decision was based on updated guidelines from the Iowa Department of Public Health, which now recommends approaching COVID-19 like other child illnesses. As a result, schools and childcare providers are encouraged to provide families with the ability to make their own decisions regarding masks. KCSD will continue to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all students and staff. Anyone who wishes to continue wearing a mask will be encouraged to do so. We will also continue to follow the recommendations of our state and local health officials. Thank you.
