TECH TIP OF THE WEEK
Words of Wisdom
Goodness is the only investment that never fails.
~ Henry David Thoreau
What's the payoff for behavior that reflects goodness of heart? Will it make you richer or more popular? Maybe not, but acting from a good heart will give you (and subsequently those around you), more contentment and happiness. These are valuable commodities in a world full of stress and unhappiness. And then there's the "paying it forward" aspect to acting with goodness. People who are treated with goodness and dignity treat others with goodness and dignity. And isn't that what we all want for ourselves and for our students? Goodness is an investment that yields very high returns. Unlike other investments, this one never fails. So, this holiday season, be good for goodness' sake.
With something to think about . . .
Remember to take care of yourself.
Remember to be good to yourself. It's not selfish; in fact, it's just the opposite. The more you recharge yourself, the more you are able to be good to others.
Happy Birthday!
