WOW! Classroom Snack Section Added to Frontier's Food Pantry
Our PTO Pantry Committee will be distributing classroom snacks for teachers to utilize in their classrooms when needed. If you would like to donate items, please click the Amazon Wish List button below. Thank you for your support!
Staff Appreciation Luncheon - Nov. 11th
Our next staff appreciation meal is November 11th. We will be treating them to a Italian bar! Click here if you'd like to bring something!
A few reminders....
- Don't forget to label your crockpot!
- Please use the crockpot liners- it makes clean up SO much easier :)
- You can drop your items off in the lobby on the cart labeled "teacher luncheon."
- You can pick your crockpots back up on the cart in the lobby at the end of luncheon day.
- Please have your items to the school no later than 10:15.

Visit Marco's Pizza off of Western from 10:30am to 10:00pm and 20% of all sales will come back to Frontier! The class that raises the most money will win a pizza party so be sure to tell them the name of your child's teacher! You can also order online in advance! See photo below for details.

Mayor’s Essay Contest Open for Entries
Deadline for students from First through Fifth grade is Nov. 9
The 38th annual Mayor’s Essay Contest is now open for entries. The contest is open to all students grades 1 through 5 in Edmond.
Students wishing to participate will write a short essay (250-word limit) on the following topic: Imagine a winter wonderland and write about it. What does it look like, where is it located, and what is the overall feel?
To enter, students must submit their essay along with their name, school, grade and parent’s contact information no later than 5 p.m. Nov. 9. Essays may be turned in to the Mayor’s office at 24 E. First Street in downtown Edmond or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The top three winners in each grade will be recognized during the Luminance Kick-Off and Tree Lighting celebration at Mitch Park beginning at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 18. Contest winners will have their picture taken with the Mayor and awarded a special keepsake.
