Girl Scout Troop 2219
Continue the Girl Scout Promise...
Brownie Investiture
Brownies will make their Promise and dedicate themselves to a year of Girl Scouting! Our Investiture ceremony will take place at the end of our next meeting. Parents are invited to attend the ceremony, which will take place at approximately 6:00 P.M. Please continue to review the Promise with them, and remember to have them do a chore to earn their $1 dues.
Brownie Sharing Activity
Girls are working towards their 1st Journey badge! Stories are everywhere, and so are girls! They're in books, movies, and on the web and TV. Stories are one of the best ways to explore what life is like for girls around the world. In stories, you can find clues about what you might do to make life better for girls, near and far! Maybe you can make those changes! And, if you share the story others can join you in making those changes, too!
***Please be sure to ask your Brownie to bring a story about a girl that she would like to share with the other girls at the meeting this Thursday!
A World of Girls
At our next meeting, the Brownies are moving forward with the World of Girls journey. At our last meeting they shared their cultures and showed us where their families are from on our world map. They loved learning about their Brownie sisters! We will start a Bug Legacy Badge activity and practice for our ceremony.
