Summary

This book is about Maureen and Paul, a girl and boy that are brother and sister. They are staying with their grandparents because their parents were in China. They wanted to own a horse to themselves instead of using there grandpas all the time. They also saw wild horses on the beach that made them want a horse that was their own too. Maureen and Paul both got jobs so on Pony Penning Day they can buy a horse and to pay their grandpa for using his stable."Only four months until Pony Penning Day.Only four months to plan and work for the Phantom".

Assesment

I chose this book because it's about horses. The was good but it could have been better in my opinion. My favorite part of the book was when Paul went looking for the Phantom and her colt in the storm, then he found them in his grandpa's horse trailer and fell asleep with them. I really liked the country feeling of the book. I would recommend this book to people who likes horses and other animals or country people.
