Volunteer Greeters for Kindergarten Registration - Tues, May 21
If you came to CLX kindergarten registration, you might remember families offering a warm welcome along with help answering questions about Claxton. Now it's our turn to roll out the red carpet for kindergarteners in the Class of 2032! We'd love to have your help to host Kindergarten Registration on Tues, May 21. If you're able to volunteer on this date, check out the link above for more info and to sign up. No specific experience whatsoever is needed. We'll have info to share and staff will be available as well. Just bring your smile and Claxton love!
Girls on the Run Season Finishing Strong This Sunday!
The group had a practice 5K last week in the neighborhood surrounding Claxton. Our amazing 18 girls along with coaches and several parents completed the practice 5K. Coach Morgan found a great route without too many hills and she went out early to mark the route with helpful chalk arrows. Coach Jami’s family and other Claxton families along the route cheered the group with signs and water at the halfway point. One girl described the experience by saying, “I feel terrible but I’m also kind of happy too.” We are so proud of the girls and thankful to the parents who helped make the practice 5K such a fun event!! Have fun on Sunday!
