Message from your principal...
Dear Maine Lion Families~
We would like to thank our families for all you do in supporting your students! You are helping your child enjoy our crazy weather at Maine by sending them appropriate gear. You are also encouraging excitement in their learning by participating in our school and Maine Lion PTO events! Without your support, our events would not find the amazing success that they are this year! Thank you from our staff here at Maine Elementary!
On Friday, we welcomed our area Veterans to enjoy a presentation and a cookie/juice snack as they learned a little more about their classroom's Veterans and their experiences! The conversations were truly priceless! Thank you all for your service! We would especially like to thank our very own Veterans, Jessica McCarthy and Steve Bowers! Please enjoy a few photos included in this newsletter.
Your partner in education,
Ms. Simonson

- Set a family goal for the week. Make a plan for achieving this short-term goal.
- Draft a family mission statement by using exactly seven more words to complete this prompt: Our family mission is to commit daily to _________ .
- Reflect on the last quarter. What went well? How will you grow throughout the remainder of the year? Commit to one learning goal for the next quarter.
- Find a quote that shows what your family values.
- Write a statement about what you want to accomplish in your life. Talk about how your family and community can help you with those dreams.
- Children, interview your parents; parents interview your children. Ask them about goals they achieved and why they were important.
