Be Part of a Tradition...Sinking Fund 2017
On November 7, 2017, Linden Community Schools will be asking voters to vote a new sinking fund. This new sinking fund would allow Linden schools to increase security, upgrade technology and improve facilities. Sinking fund dollars can only be used for updates, repair, and technology. Sinking fund dollars cannot be used for teacher, administrator or employee salaries. Keeping educational dollars in the classroom is a priority! The millage rate is 1.3 mils for a period of 10 years (2018-2027). The millage is a tax levy of approximately $130 per year for a home with $100,000 taxable value/$200,000 market value. An information session will take place on Monday, October 23, 2017, at 6:30 pm at Linden High School.
