• The Training Team reserves the right to cancel workshops due to low enrollment. Sessions that do not have at least 8 registered participants 3 days prior to the session will be canceled. • You will be notified by e-mail if a class has been canceled.
• Please do not bring children to workshops. Workshops are a professional learning environment and are not appropriate for children. Thank you for your cooperation.

Description: Every wonder how those instructional videos are created? This session will focus on the various screencast tools that are available, the steps necessary to have you creating your own videos and discuss how students can use it in the classroom.

Creating YouTube Channels for Your Campus or Classroom

Description: In this session participants will explore all things YouTube. We will set up a YouTube Channel, subscribe to other channels, upload videos, discuss settings for our videos and discuss best practices for our channels.

Description: Take student learning beyond the classroom walls. Tour sites that you and your students can use to not only learn new information, but also connect with others around the world. Attendees will receive digital resources, lesson plans and student activities to use in their classroom.

Explore Up Close with Google Cardboard

Description: Ride a roller coaster, swim with the sharks, fly a jet, or climb the Eiffel Tower. Experience virtual reality using a cardboard view finder. Participants will explore apps and videos that can be used with Google Cardboard and discuss best ways to use in the classroom.

Discovery Education - More Than Just a Video Clip
Course Date: December 1, 2016 at 4:15 PM to 5:30 PM
Description: This course will focus on the many features of Discovery Education - not just the videos. Participants will learn how to find and download images, create writing prompts, use the assignment builder and more. We will also discuss different ways to incorporate Discovery Education into the classroom. You should have a Discovery Education account set up before attending this class.
