Aim For Success - 7th Grade Science

The seventh-grade science team is currently working on learning the structures and functions of the human body systems, and one of the required systems in the science standards is the reproductive system. To help teach this standard, the district schedules a company called Aim for Success who presents a 45-minute abstinence-based sex-ed program that focuses on students' goals and dreams and how waiting for sex will help students reach and obtain their goals. Please attend the April 27th Zoom meeting at 6:30 pm to find out more information about the program.

Track

The 7th and 8th grade Lady Bears track team have had two fantastic weeks of competition. After each team brought home first place overall and only being able to complete half of the Waller Relays on April 15, both teams were able to earn a second place finish in overall points at our meet on Thursday, April 22. Huge shout outs to our most recent 7th grade BBJH record breakers: Henlee Moszkowicz for breaking the triple jump record; Stevie South for breaking the long jump record, Kennedy Shields for breaking the 2400 record, and our 4x100 relay team set a new record with Hayden Wylie, Ashley Bryan, Stevie South, and Violette Unruh. This is a huge accomplishment for these girls and we could not be more proud to have them represent BBJH Athletics!

Our next meet will be Thursday, April 29 in Waller. Good luck!
