WHAT'S HAPPENING AT SPES?

NOTES AND REMINDERS FOR MARCH 9TH -13TH

*TUITION ASSISTANCE: The SPES Tuition Assistance packets for the 2015-2016 school year will be available from Mrs. Cheryl Simon beginning Tuesday, March 10, 2015. St. Pius Elementary School strives to bring the presence of Christ to others by supporting families in their desire to provide Catholic education for their children. To be considered for tuition assistance, applicants must be active parishioners of St. Pius X Church and enrolled at SPES in PreK4 - 7th grade for at least one (1) year. Each family will be required to volunteer at SPES for a minimum of ten(10) hours per student per year dependent on the level of assistance granted. Please contact Mrs. Simon at cheryl_simon@stpiuselementary.org to arrange for packet pick-up and/or to discuss any questions you may have. Deadline for completion of FACTS online application process for tuition assistance is Monday, April 13, 2015.
*DEANO'S SPES SPIRIT DAY TOMORROW: Consider taking your work colleagues to lunch tomorrow and definitely rule out cooking at home tomorrow. Our friends the Metcalf's are hosting a SPES SPIRIT DAY tomorrow (Tuesday) from 10:30 a.m. - 10 p.m. Be sure to turn in a homeroom flyer so SPES gets a percentage of net sales!
*"WRITES OF SPRING" WRITING CONTEST GUIDELINES NOW AVAILABLE: Each year we see St. Pius student recognized for their creative writing ability when the "Writes of Spring" writing contest winners are announced. We encourage all students who love to write or who have a story to tell to enter the contest. To review guidelines and contest information, as well as print out the paper
