From the Teacher's Pen
It's great to be back into my school routines. Staying at home just makes me lazy. There is only so much sitting and reading, sitting and eating, sitting and watching T.V., and sitting and playing video games I can take. I did actually force myself to bundle up and get out in the yard on the three better days last week. I am patting myself on the back that I was able to get all the way around the yard and fill two yard waste bins AND I started a pile to be put in the bins when they are emptied. Are you impressed?
Have a wonderful Easter Sunday with your family and friends!
Apology & Important Reminder
Sorry: I realized that the rest of the prayers to be tested on this year were not included in the packet you received last trimester. I will take care of that right away and send out the text of the Apostles Creed and the Liturgy of the Hours.
Remember: The SMART Gala reservation is due this Friday the 14th. You can reserve online or by using the RSVP card. It would be great to see a lot of you there.

- Science: we are learning about and growing seeds currently. Bigger things to come.
- Social Studies: we will begin a short unit on civics. It is time to learn how our government works at the local, state, and national levels.
- Religion: we are building a stronger classroom community with our 2nd Steps Program. I will give you updates as we work through the lessons.
