High School Weekly Update
From Co-Principals Ruby Bode & Chuck Scott
April 16, 2021
Dear EPHS Family,
This week we have a lot to communicate about some important changes to events as we wrap up the last 6 weeks of school and prepare for graduation, prom, and homecoming. Communication is one of our treasured Global Outcomes that we value in our EPSD community, and we feel we have certainly been challenged in this area this year. We want to thank you all for being patient and showing us grace as we try to communicate the frequent changes throughout this challenging school year. This is an area in which we ourselves are always striving to improve.
Sincerely,
Ruby Bode & Chuck Scott
Prom is Postponed
Update on Graduation Information
The ceremony will not be open to the public. Only relatives of the graduates will be in attendance. This includes relatives outside of the household to include grandparents, aunts/uncles, etc. We will provide more information as our plans develop and are approved. Since it will not be open to the public, we will be live-streaming it for everyone in our community to watch who is unable to attend.
Homecoming Week is Next Week!

Monday - 4/19 - Sports Day
Tuesday - 4/20 - Twin Day
Wednesday - 4/21 - Country vs. Country Club

Academic Letter Award Ceremony
Only students receiving awards will be in attendance for the ceremony, but we will live-stream the event on our Estes Park High School Facebook page for spectators to watch the students receive their awards. A list of students receiving academic letters for the 2019-20 school year are pictured below.

Summer jobs, Internships, and Apprenticeships!
Starting on Monday, April 19th, students can browse open positions with local employers through our virtual hiring platform. The following week beginning Monday, April 26th, we'll be hosting Employer Spotlight events to make local opportunities available directly to our High School students. Students will hear from business partners like the Town of Estes Park, Bird & Jim, and Estes Valley Recreation and Parks (to name a few) about the roles they're hiring, pay, benefits, and workplace culture. Keep an eye out for our platform launch link and Employer Spotlight event schedule coming soon!
