Going Digital
May 2016
I'm just returning from Common Ground 2016 and my head is spinning (in a good way!) with new ideas and thoughts of sharing. I was able to attend many great workshops and network beyond BCPS with Maryland educators. As I selected workshops and took copious notes, my goal was to go beyond classroom teachers and ELA to ensure I could bring back valuable, new learning to share with everyone.

Brain Break...Appear.in
Time to play. Grab a teammate or friend and check out appear,in. This is a great video conferencing tool. Up to eight people can join. No logins, no installs! Imagine the possibilities: conference with parents, hold SST or IEP meetings with members outside of the conference room, or connect with a classroom outside of our school.
The best part is the name of the link provided. These are always wacky, like friendly-raccoon or apricot-hamster.
