The Tiger Times
Walnut Hill Elementary - March 8, 2021, Volume XXI
Principal Announcements
In order to continue PVA and to provide in person instruction some of our students had to be assigned to other teachers. Our teachers share the same lesson plans for instructional delivery so students will continue to be instructed based on the standards of learning as provided by the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE). Many of the students may know their new assigned teachers because when a teacher is out they join another teachers class so they can continue to receive instruction. We will continue to work with our students to reach their fullest potential.
Letters will be sent out to students who are registered for in person instruction this week with expectations for the students return. The students remaining in the PVA will receive their class assignments from their current teachers. It will be posted on Schoology.
Also, just a reminder school is in session Monday thru Friday. Fridays are student support days, so students sign in at 8:30 a.m. for SEL, and participate in other activities such as Flying Classrooms, small group remediation and Gifted instruction. So please encourage students to sign in.
