Park Terrace Elementary
December 15, 2021 Newsletter
Greetings Park Terrace Families,
I have been excited to connect with you this week because I am just so incredibly proud of how well Literacy Night (Camp Read-A-Lot) went last week! It was such an enriching, fun experience for our students and families and it was so nice to see so many kids of all ages experiencing the joy of reading.
Our staff here did a wonderful job coming up with a variety of activities that helped our students learn and have fun at the same time. Thank you so incredibly much to those who came and to those who helped put on a great event at school! If you want to see some pictures from the event, check out the Great News section.
It is hard to believe but next week is the final week before Winter Break! I was once a student, too, so I know the feeling of growing excitement as one looks forward to the long break. While that is perfectly normal and to be expected, please be sure to remind your students to finish the last few days of this calendar year strong!
As a reminder, next Wednesday will be our last day of school before Winter Break begins on Thursday, Dec. 23. Our schools will be closed December 23-December 31. School will resume after break on Monday, January 3.
Finally, I have included some photos below of the highlights of this year so far! Let’s keep up the great momentum we have built this year and keep making great memories and wonderful learning experiences!
