Students Return to Campus on 4/12

Our campus is clean, our staff are vaccinated, and our spirts are high. Dartmouth's doors will once again be opened to on-campus learning for all grade levels beginning April 12th. As we eagerly prepare for this momentous day, it is important to know that our class schedules will change to provide for the cohorting of students into groups who will to travel to the same classes together during their two days on campus each week.

Our core academic classes will be moved to periods 1 through 4 so that they may be taught in person. PE and Elective classes will be moved to periods 5 and 6 and will meet after lunch as well as on Wednesdays. Please review our New Bell Schedule with your child before April 12th.

Individual student schedules will be available on PowerSchool on April 8th. We apologize for this delay, but the rescheduling of student schedules must be done by hand and is incredibly time consuming. Students may see changes to their class periods and teachers. We will do everything possible to keep changes to a minimum. Fortunately, we will be able to keep students on their same teams.

Before students may come onto campus, parents must acknowledge understanding of the In-Person Learning Agreement using this FORM.

Please review this Campus Map which shows the different gates students must enter and exit each day.

Distance Learning students will be scheduled into cohorts as well and might also see changes to their schedules and teachers.

Thank you for your partnership during this wild adventure.

Writers and Artists Showcase

Let's not allow COVID to dampen our students' creativity. Expressive opportunities to showcase creativity through art and writing are available to all Dartmouth students in the USD Writers and Artists Showcase.

Encouraging your child to share their imaginations with others is an incredible way to help build their self confidence and interest in taking on new challenges. This is also a fantastic opportunity for your child to take a break from their schoolwork while practicing their critical thinking, communication, and artistic skills. Learning should be a journey fueled by personal expression and exposure to independent challenges.

Student submissions are due by the end of Spring Break. Thank you for helping make your child's growth rich in variety and investigation.

CLMS Educator of the Year
