A Message from Dr. Blount
Hutsell Families:
Governor Abbott issued orders for Texas schools to stay closed for the rest of the school year. As a result, Katy ISD and Hutsell Elementary will continue to deliver student instruction for the remainder of this school year using the current online teaching and learning model.
Sincerely,
Dr. Margie Blount
Hutsell Elementary Principal
We may not be in school, but... the learning doesn't stop! This week's theme is ENCOURAGEMENT.
Participate in Our District's Kindness Challenge!
The COVID-19 pandemic has negatively impacted us all in a variety of ways. In a time where physical distancing is required, social and emotional connectedness is even more vital to a person’s well-being. To combat this challenging time, we are encouraging students and staff to participate in Character Strong’s 30 Days of Kindness. Kindness will not stop the spread of the virus, but the hope is to brighten someone’s day and add some positivity to our lives and community.
You can e-mail our counselor, Mrs. Benavides if you'd like more information or if you'd like to share how your family is participating in this challenge.
Online Learning Week 5
Content Boards for this week:
The most important pieces will be the mini-lessons from teachers. If any assignment is frustrating in nature after your child has tried completion for approximately 10-15 minutes, please stop and let your child’s teacher know.
