It is getting really chilly out so please make sure your child brings a big coat to school! Especially for recess!
If you have been on FSAconnect recently, you may have noticed I have added an extra credit opportunity for Language Arts this week! This is a new homework option we are trying out here at FSA! The students can answer the questions on FSAconnect! One of the skills we are working with this week is homophones. Therefore, this online opportunity allows for your child to get 60 extra points!
I hope you are loving the Homeroom App because I am! If you haven't joined yet, you should!
Book Fair is this week! The students will make wish lists on Tuesday and bring them home for you to approve before sending money for our Wednesday visit!

We took our Chapter 6 & 7 Chapter test today! We will be beginning division which will last until the end of the semester! We are almost done with 3A!
We are continuing on with the early explorers and how America was discovered!
We are finishing up with plants. We are learning about how the life cycle of plants, and they reproduce, germinate, and pollinate.
Our weekly story is How Do You Raise a Raisin, an expository text.
Our reading skill is Drawing Conclusions.
Our vocabulary skill is homophones.
Our vocabulary words are: area, artificial, grapevine, preservation, proof, raise, raisin
Our convention skill is Action and Linking Verbs.
