With the final term upon us for our school year, I have several important pieces of information to pass along to all of you.

1. Literacy Week: We would like to thank you for your incredible support during our Literacy Week! It was wonderful having so many of you at our school during our Literacy Round-Up! We are excited about all of the reading students did last week and we are grateful for your donations that help us to purchase books for our instructional library and Chromebooks for classrooms. 2. March Madness: We would like to invite any of you that would like to compete in a March Madness Bracket competition to join our pool here. Any one in your immediate family is welcome to participate...there is a one-bracket limit:) Brackets MUST be filled out BEFORE games bein on March 14th. The winner can choose either a Mustang apparel item or a gift card.
3. Math Facts March Madness: Each year at the end of March, or the beginning of April, we randomly choose students who are working hard on their math facts to shoot baskets for cash. This is a fun way for us to celebrate all of the hard work students are putting into learning their math facts.
4. School Community Council: We are opening up School Community Council Elections for the next two weeks. The purpose of this council is to review and enhance our School Improvement Plan by setting goals and allocating Trustland funds to meet those goals. Please e-mail me if you have an interest in participating in this council. If several parents express interest, an election will be held.
5. Registration for the 2023-2024 School Year:
• New Kindergarten Students: Registration Portal will open for ALL kindergarten students on March 1, 2023.
• Returning Students: Registration Portal will open for returning students on March 1, 2023.
• New Students to Nebo: Registration Portal will open for any new students to Nebo on March 22, 2023.
6. SEP Conferences: This week we are holding SEPs. If you have not yet signed up for an appointment, please use the links to do so below. If your student has not been signed up by Tuesday (the 7th) at noon, you can directly contact your child's teacher, or your child's teacher will set an appointment for him/her. Please read the directions at the beginning of the SignUp Genius Scheduler before scheduling your appointment. If you need assistance, you are welcome to call the school.

Con el término final de nuestro año escolar a la vuelta de la esquina, tengo varios datos importantes para transmitirles a todos ustedes.

1. Semana de la Alfabetización: ¡Nos gustaría agradecerles por su increíble apoyo durante nuestra Semana de la Alfabetización! ¡Fue maravilloso tener a tantos de ustedes en nuestra escuela durante nuestra reunión de alfabetización! Locura de marzo con datos matemáticos: cada año, a fines de marzo o principios de abril, elegimos al azar a los estudiantes que están trabajando duro en sus datos matemáticos para tirar canastas por dinero en efectivo. Esta es una forma divertida de celebrar todo el arduo trabajo que los estudiantes están haciendo para aprender las operaciones matemáticas.
4. Consejo Comunitario Escolar: Estamos abriendo las Elecciones del Consejo Comunitario Escolar para las próximas dos semanas. El propósito de este consejo es revisar y mejorar nuestro Plan de Mejoramiento Escolar estableciendo metas y asignando fondos de Trustland para alcanzar esas metas. Por favor envíeme un correo electrónico si tiene interés en participar en este consejo. Si varios padres expresan interés, se llevará a cabo una elección.
5. Inscripción para el Año Escolar 2023-2024:
