what was the change
The scientific revolution was the point in time when people began to explore the wonders of astronomy, mathematics, science, and philosophy. There were philosophies that dedicated their lives to explore and question the natural and the world . Eventually, people wondered if what they were saying was true or not. Philosophers began to prove everything that they thought was true. After the scientific revolution, people throughout began to expand their views on the true realities that surrounded them. The scientific method is a way to connect our observations and our experiments to result in an outcome that reveals the total truths.Technology is based on problems and solutions that we now a days must over come.
people associated with the change
Nicolaus Copernicus was a mathematician and astronomer in the scientific revolution . He formulated a model of the universe that placed the Sun rather than the Earth at its center. everyone believed earth was the center of the universe,he proposed that the planets instead revolved around the sun. Even though his observation wasn't completely correct he made a strong foundation for future scientist to build on and improve mankind's understanding of motion of heavy bodies .
how did the change impact
galileo made inprovements to the telescope to be able to see the sky better with , while doing that he descovered four different moons . he found lo , ganymade , callisto , and europa . he also had the four moons named after him which is GALILEAN MOONS . The churches disagreed with all of his work so they asked him to ston but Galileo refused to stop . so the church put galileo on house arrest until he was dead . He died on january 8 , 1642 , at the age of 77 .
how is the change evidence in todays society
he went againts the power of the church by himself and still descoverd that the the sun was the center of the universe and the earth wasnt , He built the 1st telescope. Discovered Saturn and observed 4 large moons orbiting Jupiter which gave him the idea that Earth was just a planet like Jupiter.
He proved that different bodies of different size and mass accelerate at the same speed, by dropping a large and small cannon ball off the leaning tower of Pisa and they both hit the ground at the same time , He is still changing society todayThe rift between science and religion has its roots with Galileo.
