Exploring STEAM" with TinkerCAD Circuit Design
Using TinkerCAD's online circuit simulator, students build impressive electronic projects from LED blinkers and Flashlights to Pianos and Coin Toss simulations. This class is perfect for anyone who likes to tinker with technology. "Exploring STEAM" combines programming (coding), electronics (engineering), and artistic design (art) of each project. This is just like using real Arduino-style circuit boards without the expense or chance of losing small parts. By the end of the course, students will have several online projects that can be built into real-world devices with the same physical equipment.
Interested in playing lacrosse?
Blasters Lacrosse, a Lacrosse project out of Wilson and Roosevelt Middle Schools, is taking sign-ups. We will form Google classrooms for girls and boys and do virtual meetings until we can get back on the field. Open to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.
Please send an email to Mr. Aviles (gaviles@gusd.net), PE teacher at Wilson, using YOUR STUDENT EMAIL. Indicate what school you're from and what grade you're in.
He will let you know when the virtual informational meeting will be.
