Principal's Post...
You have SHOWN UP. And you'll continue to show up with purpose and determination and passion! Here is what I already know about you:
You strive valiantly and with constant belief and hope in our work and in our kids! You are risk takers who are willing to try new things and risk being wrong for the sake of doing what is RIGHT! But just like Theodore Roosevelt says, even though you may be marred by dust and sweat, even though sometimes we may try sometimes and not yield success, you will valiantly show up again and again and again! You are brave and you are devoted and you DARE GREATLY because you know that your work matters! And you know your work matters because you know our KIDS matter!
THANK YOU for all that you did last week to prepare for the arrival of our students and for our work! Already, I have watched you going above and beyond to pitch in and help and work TOGETHER in roles way outside your own, to ensure that as a team, we get the job done!
I look forward to a great year and I am grateful that our kids have adults in our building who wake up each day believing that miracles DO happen....and who wake up believing that those miracles just may happen TODAY...through US.
Patriot Proud,
Holly

After talking with Dr. Wallace last week, we still have more than one hundred students who have not yet turned in evidence of their vaccinations. In your communications with 7th graders, please continue to remind them that they will not be able to attend school when we begin back in person, without this documentation. I will continue to include this information in my parent newsletter as well. Hopefully, since we have delayed our in-person start date, we will be able increase our number of students who turn in vaccination documentation. Thanks!

Duty to Report:
Emergency Sub Notebooks and Plans
Everyone knows that we are experiencing a sub shortage. When quality plans are not left, this is a large deterrent for subs. They will not come back if they are left without quality plans. This has occurred at times not just with subs but even with teachers subbing for other teachers in the building.
Creating emergency sub plans will assist with this. We know there are times when unexpected absences occur. By being proactive and prepared, you AND the sub will be left in a far better place should you have to be out unexpectedly.
We need YOU to join our PTA!
Props to these Patriots!

*A BIG shout out to Tony and ALL of our custodians for their hard work throughout the summer to prepare for our re-opening! They have gone above and beyond to make our school SHINE!
*Thank you to our outstanding office staff for going the extra mile in preparing for our re-opening and for being the face of Liberty Bell when parents call to ask questions and enroll students! They make it look easy...but we all know it is not. They are the foundation for all we do! Thank you!
*Thank you to Damon Mazoff, Jen Moore and Lucretia Stephens! They have done the work this summer to prepare for our re-opening and we would not be ready if it were not for their collaboration with all of you, their student-focused decision making and for their hard work!
*TECH LEADERS-Thank you to our Tech Leaders for the time they have given and their willingness to support all of us in preparing for the upcoming school year. They have worked hard and fast to create professional learning experiences based on your needs!
*WOW! We have over 30 Liberty Bell teachers who have signed up for Tech Academy! This is a testimony to your hard work and commitment to making our instruction as robust as it can be!
