Book Bus Available to Sprague Learners
We are excited to begin our Sprague Book Bus to connect your child with great books from our school library!
After filling out the form linked at the bottom of this email, our goal is for your family to receive four books of their 10 books wish listed, which will be checked out to your child for a two-week period. The books you receive will depend on availability.
To search our catalog, please visit the Follett Destiny website and click "Laura B. Sprague School" (do not click on the little ribbon flag shape). From there, you can search by topic, title, or author. We encourage you to check the availability listed on the right-hand side. For more information and specific directions for searching, you can watch an instructional video. If you do not see a book you are searching for we encourage you to check Vernon Area Public Library, Aspen Public Library (Cook Memorial), Ela Public Library, or Deerfield Public Library.
Availability is constantly changing, which is why we ask that you provide us with 10 requests in hopes of being able to check out four books from your list.
Within one to two weeks, four books will be delivered to your door by the transportation department and your family will be responsible for returning these books within two weeks of receipt. A cart will be placed in the Sprague vestibule, which is open from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or you can return books when picking up lunches from the D103 Transportation Department located to the south of Daniel Wright Junior High School Mondays and Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4:30 to 6 p.m.
You are welcome to fill out this form again to wish list ten more books upon returning the previous checkout.
For questions, please reach out to Lauren Lenzini, Sprague Library Media Specialist, at llenzini@d103.org.

Leave Your Legacy in D103
The D103 Learning Fund Foundation invites your family to leave a legacy at D103 with the launch of the Legacy Brick Fundraiser. With the completion of the Daniel Wright construction project, the Foundation invites families to donate $100 to inscript their name on a brick pathway outside the remodeled school.
This LFF Legacy Brick Fundraiser video, narrated by Daniel Wright Principal Michelle Blackley and featuring the new school mascot, outlines the project. This is a great opportunity to bring our community together, so please consider a donation. The Learning Fund and all of our schools appreciate your generous support.
