UGA Division of Development & Alumni Relations - Now Hiring Communications Student Worker and Development Interns!
UGA's Division of Development & Alumni Relations is hiring a communications student worker and development interns.
Communications Student Worker - This position will work closely with the communications coordinators to help develop and implement marketing and PR efforts for various departments within the division. A major responsibility of the communications intern will be to conduct interviews with UGA alumni and donors and write stories for the web. The application deadline is February 28th.

Attention Sophomores: FTI Consulting is Hiring Corporate Finance Interns
As part of our commitment to develop female talent, we are sponsoring a developmental internship program to help students, beginning in their sophomore year, to realize their potential. The WINtern program provides mentoring and skill development opportunities to help participants build a foundation throughout their college experience that will position them for successful careers after graduation.
The internship is a 6 week program with a goal of developing female interns, in their sophomore year, with majors in Business, Mathematics, and Engineering. FTI Consulting is deeply focused on learning and personal development, so we want to ensure candidates are given the right training and experience to be set up for success post-graduation. At the end of the summer, successful interns may receive an offer to join us as a Summer Intern in 2019 for our traditional 10 week internship program.

We are excited to announce the 2018 Duke/UNC National Case Competition is now accepting applications! You will have the chance to hear from a panel of professionals from various consulting firms. Following the panel, we will have a networking social where you can talk more in depth with the panelists. This event is a great overview for those who may be interested in the consulting field and want to hear what it’s all about! This event is open to ALL students (ALL majors, ALL years). No registration required.
Arch Ready: Managing Multiple Offers

Join the UGA Career Center and a recruiter from a Career Center employer partner to hear more about managing multiple offers. As you navigate the job search process and make good impressions on employers, you may find yourself in the difficult situation of receiving multiple job offers, and having to decide which is better for you.
This workshop will help you understand: what aspects to consider when you have multiple offers on the table, how your values are an important part of this process, and how to professionally respond to employers if you are faced with this situation. This is an ideal workshop for you if you have not yet accepted a job offer.
In this workshop, we will be joined by a recruiter from Enterprise Holdings to understand an employer's perspective on this topic.
It is not necessary to RSVP/join this event on Handshake in order to attend this event.

Attend this interactive workshop to gain that knowledge and use it for your job/internship search. After this workshop you will be able to: 1. Identify and prioritize career values 2. Assess motivation and proficiency in transferable skills 3. Understand how to use knowledge of values and skills in job/internship search.
This session is open to a maximum of 20 students, and you must pre-register on Handshake.
Oak Ridge National Laboratory Science Education and Workforce Development Virtual Career Fair
Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) are excited to share with you a great opportunity to learn more about the variety of internships and research participation programs available at ORNL, the U.S. Department of Energy’s largest science and energy lab.
ORNL and ORISE are co-hosting a virtual career fair February 22 from noon to 3 p.m. EST. Students may register up to the day of the event at http://orau.us/live-ornl.
During the virtual career fair, students will be able to chat with ORNL scientists and ORISE recruiters and get tips on applying.
