Message from the Principal
Hello parents,
Do you know of a family member who is looking for a job? Have you yourself been meaning to get your resume together and apply for a different position? Do you know of someone who could benefit from some assistance in a tough job market? Perhaps there is a neighbor who just needs help navigating the complicated search process. If so, please mark your calendar's for the Greater Woodbury Community Job Fair (see flyer below).
In partnership with local and national employers, Woodbury staff members are hosting a resume building night and a job fair. Experts will be on hand to help you cull through life experiences identifying transferable job skills and distilling them down onto paper in an appealing way. Resumes will be created and interview tips/tricks will be discussed.
Additionally, you will get the opportunity to speak directly to employers from many different industries. This is a perfect opportunity to make connections and to place yourself, or a loved one, in the best position possible to land a new job.
Please help us spread the word about these exciting events!
Keep Love Present,
Dr. Vivadelli

Veteran's Day Event
To help our students understand the purpose of Veteran's Day a bit better, we invited two community members in to speak. Dr. Holocroft (WWII) and Mr. Sanderson (Korean War) came in and chatted with our history classes. Our HS Assistant Principal, Mr. Dobbins, History Department Chair, Mr. Gallatig, and Media Specialist, Ms. Moody all helped organize the event. Regaling our students with first hand tales from the past, our students eagerly absorbed the stories and anecdotes from these brave men. Students also participated in Operation Gratitude as they wrote hundreds of letters to deployed heroes, at home veterans, wounded warriors, new recruits and first responders. These mailed 'thank yous' expressed gratitude for those you put themselves in harms way to keep the rest of us safe. #ThankAVeteran
