HOME GAME REMINDERS
Tickets may only be purchased in advance from the administration building beside the middle school on Thursday and Friday. No tickets are available at the stadium on Friday.
As our first home game approaches, LVHS would like to remind you of a few stadium rules that have been around for awhile and a few new ones!
1. All LVES and LVIS students must be accompanied by an adult guardian at all times. Students are not permitted on the practice field at any point during football games.
2. Standing, loitering, or horseplay under and around the stadium stands, concession stands, practice field, or any other area is prohibited. Revealing, provocative and/or inappropriate dress will not be allowed, nor will inappropriate behaviors or foul language. Repeat offenders will be required to leave the stadium and campus.
3. Once inside the stadium, middle school and high school students with a student ticket will be allowed to sit in the designated student area on the home side of the stadium. Students may sit in the reserved or general admission sections only if they are under the supervision of an adult guardian.
4. The use of alcohol, controlled substances, tobacco, and vapes are prohibited on school premises.
5. Outside food and drinks are not permitted inside the gates. We have a wonderful Booster Club that provides a full concession stand of food and drinks for you to purchase throughout the game.
6. Face masks must be worn at all times, fans should social distance and sit in designated areas, and exit stadium immediately following the game.
Lago Vista ISD appreciates everyone’s cooperation and support as we work to keep a safe and enjoyable environment at Viking football games.

WINDOW FOR CHANGING INSTRUCTIONAL SETTINGS FOR 2ND NINE WEEKS
Families will have the opportunity from September 21st-25th to make a change in their child's instructional setting for the 2nd nine weeks. The window will close on September 25th to allow the campus to make classroom and campus adjustments to accommodate the change requests. Any changes requested during this window will take effect the second nine weeks which begins on October 14th. Please know that you do not have to make a change in your child's instructional setting, however changes will not be accepted outside of this window. More information, along with the link to the form to request the change, will be coming very soon.
Please be aware that as each grading period allows for parents to request changes, our campus must adjust accordingly. While we strive to maintain as much consistency as possible for our students, requests for changes may result in teacher changes. Even those NOT requesting a change in the instructional setting may be impacted and result in a teacher change as we shift teacher assignments to and from face-to-face and virtual to accommodate change requests.

For our Social Emotional Learning lessons on the week of September 21-25, we are working on career exploration. It is a fun start to thinking about future careers. Some activities include books, games (charades!), website exploration and interviewing. The activities are meant to assist students in getting excited about the future. This will be a fun week to peak interest in future careers.
