News from Principal Schwartz
Dear CTE Families,
Thank you for attending parent-teacher conferences. Your active participation in your child’s education means the world to us and is an invaluable opportunity for us to discuss your child’s progress.
A huge thank you to our CEPO group and the parents who volunteered to provide delicious meals on both conference nights. Your generous contributions ensured that staff could grab a quick bite on these busy nights of back to back conferences. We appreciate you!
We are grateful to have such committed families and look forward to the year ahead with you.
All my best, Jen
Today was UNITY DAY! Students worked to spread kindness across our school.
Cars Not Using Pick Up Line
There are a number of cars parking in the neighborhood on the corner of Lever and North Rd which is creating an unsafe situation. Cars are parked really close to the crosswalk which makes it challenging for people to pull out into the street. Students do not have a safe area to walk to get to vehicles. I strongly encourage you to join the family pick up line. All students are picked up by 3:55 pm. The line goes fast. Please consider this for the safety of our students. Thank you.

Centennial Schools will be celebrating National School Lunch Week the week of October 16th. The National School Lunch Program serves nearly 30 million children every school day. Not only does it reduce childhood hunger, but it also supports American agriculture. Centennial’s Food Service department will celebrating by handing out little gifts with each student’s lunch the week of October 16th-18th

A huge thanks also to everyone who participated in our Butter Braids and Cookie Dough fundraiser! It brought in more than $4,000 for CEPO! We hit the ground running (and Strolling) in the fall with fundraisers, so we can fund teacher requests and community-building activities the rest of the school year. Join us at one of these fun events, Movie Night, Book Fair and Butter Braid pick ups on November 3rd, 6 - 8 PM. Consider helping to make this night a success by volunteering.
The Scholastic Book Fair will be open on Movie Night, after school until 8 PM and Thursday, Nov. 9th from 1 -3 PM. Students who wish to shop at the Book Fair on Thursday, Nov. 9th will be escorted and must have their money available via cash or e-wallet. The Book Fair can also be shopped online at Centennial Book Fair. Any purchases in person or online from November 3 - 9th benefit our school! Set up an e-wallet online for your child to use. Share the e-wallet with family and friends to contribute to your child's book fund!
