Bell Schedules for the Week of October 24th
Monday/Wednesday Bell Schedule
No Late Start Wednesday! We will run the Monday schedule on Wednesday, October 26th.
Tuesday Bell Schedule
Thursday/Friday-- Conference Days!
Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences
Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences:
- Thursday, October 27th-- 12:00pm to 3:00pm and 5:00pm to 7:00 pm.
- Friday, October 28th-- 12:00pm to 3:00pm.
All conferences will be drop in style. Come anytime during the times above and see the teachers you wish to see. All teachers will be in their classrooms.
U.S. Air Force Band and Singing Sergeants and Admissions Advisor for the US Air Force Academy
Monday, 24 October at 7:00pm-- The Air Force Concert Band and Singing Sergeants will perform at Battle Ground High School. For more information please click here.
US Air Force Academy on Campus October 28
- Battle Ground will host an Admissions Advisor for the US Air Force Academy on 28 October during all three periods.
- Battle Ground HS is on a short list of Tier 1 schools that the USAFA focuses on, designated as a JROTC Honor Detachment.
- This is a great opportunity to work with students on educating them about the unique opportunities the Air Force and Space Force have to offer. In the spirit of Total Force efforts, we will also have a Gold Bar Recruiter (AFROTC) and an enlisted recruiter with me to teach about all college paths in the Air Force.
- The presentations will take place in Portable 4. Interested students are invited to attend one of the class periods.

Magic the Gathering
A huge thank you to the MagiKids program for an awesome donation of hundreds of cards, deck boxes, sleeves, and dice! Magic the Gathering Club meets Mondays and Thursdays after school in D12 till 3:30. Join us and build a deck for our Oathbreaker tournament!
Register for the Fall Esports exhibition! Registration is open until November 17th.
Interested in BGH Esports? You can still register and participate in the Fall exhibition season. No commitment necessary. No need to go through FamilyID or pay the activity fee. This Fall is a “try it out” season that makes it easier than ever to find out if Esports is for you; We are looking for any level of player.
The three titles we’re competing in are Rocket League, Smash Brothers Ultimate, and League of Legends:
League of Legends is Tuesdays from 3-5pm
Smash Brothers Ultimate is Wednesdays from 3-5pm
Rocket League is Thursdays from 3-5pm.

Grad Night Parent Meeting 10/27
Hello, SENIOR PARENTS! The 2023 Grad Night Foundation will be having a parent meeting on Thursday, October 27th at 7:00 pm in Room C44 at BGHS. Grad Night Poinsettia and Wreath Sale-Last Chance!
The poinsettia and wreath sale ends 10/28!
- Seniors can print the order form from by clicking here or pick up order forms in the Main Office.
- Poinsettias are in 6" pots and are $15.00.
- Wreaths are $25.00.
- Payment is due when the order is taken.
- Seniors must pick up their order at Captain Strong Primary School on Saturday, December 3rd from 1:00-5:00.
- Please make checks out to BGHS Grad Night and be sure to put the Senior's name on the memo line.
- If using Venmo (@BGHS-GradNight), please add the Senior's name in your Venmo.
- All order forms with payments need to be turned into BGHS Main Office during the week of October 24th between the hours of 7:15 - 3:00, with all orders and payments due on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 28TH.

Blood Drive-November 18, 2022
Battle Ground High School is participating in the American Red Cross high school program. Through participating in this program, we will give students extra community service opportunities that could help save lives!
Besides encouraging your son or daughter (if they’re eligible) to donate blood at our upcoming blood drive on Friday, Nov. 18, 2022 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, we are inviting you as well.

ASVAB Assessment
- Battle Ground High School will be offering the ASVAB Career Exploration Program (CEP) to our students on November 9 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
- The ASVAB, sponsored by the Department of Defense, is a public service provided to our nation’s schools at no cost and no obligation. The ASVAB is an excellent aptitude assessment comprising eight tests that yield three Career Exploration Scores (verbal skills, math skills and science and technology skills). These three scores, combined with results of an interest inventory, will assist your son/daughter to explore a wide variety of educational and career options.

Post-Secondary Fair and Financial Aid Zoom Presentation on October 27th

- All students will have the opportunity to attend the Post Secondary Fair hosted by the College and Career Center staff on October 27; 8:30 am - 11:00 am. Students can meet with representatives from Apprenticeship Programs, Technical & Trade Schools, Two and Four year colleges and military.
Financial Aid A - Z Zoom Presentation - October 27th
- Representatives from WSU Vancouver will be presenting financial aid information on grants, loans, scholarships and how to access the money for your students. The presentation will be Thursday, October 27, 4 pm - 5 pm

- Winter Team Sport pictures are also scheduled for Nov. 21st after school.
