2. Participate in a Smudging Ceremony. When we smudge it promotes positive energies and spiritual healing.When we burn the sacred medicines it creates smoke. The smoke goes in all directions and it helps take our prayers to the Creator. The smoke can be used as a way to clean the body:
I smudge my head to have good thoughts.
I smudge my hair to have strength and pride.
I smudge my eyes to see the good in others.
I smudge my ears to see good things.
I smudge my mother to speak only good words.
I smudge my body to walk a good life.
3. Practice Mindfulness Exercises.
I keep my body and mind clean by thinking good thoughts and doing good deeds.

2. Watch Kid President list 25 things he is grateful for (video at the bottom of smore). Have students keep a gratitude journal or work as a class and keep a gratitude jar.
