Krum ISD Weekly Update

For the week of September 19-23, 2022

The Krum ISD Education Foundation is now accepting applications for student enrichment grants! These grants help fund educational opportunities for students BEYOND the classroom, like STEM camps, career and technology certifications, and more! ANY Krum ISD student in grades K-12 is eligible to apply! Applications are due to the campus office or Krum ISD Admin Building by 4 pm on October 1!

The deadline to apply is October 7th! Apply online here.

Check out this Bobcat spirit wear shirt from your friends at KMS. This shirt is not branded exclusively to KMS and would be a great addition for any KISD student, parent, or community member.

The shirts are Gildan Soft Style for adults. Soft Style shirts are not available in youth sizes.

Homecoming 2022 is right around the corner! This year’s homecoming shirt is now available for purchase!


Order forms were sent home with each elementary student, but can also be picked up at any campus office (including the administration building), or you may print the attached order form and return it to your child's campus office.

We knew our band was amazing, but this is just WOW!

The KHS Honor Band is a Commended Winner in the Excellence/National Wind Band Honors Project!

Students in Mrs. Mays’ 6th grade Science classes learned how to identify minerals based on how they fracture (break). Then students went outside and broke some minerals in order to classify them.

KHS brought their a-game to the Armor Up Liberty Christian Invitational!


All three teams placed 1st!🎉


And we had numerous individual medal winners, denoted in yellow highlight!

Congrats to our Lady Cats volleyball team on sweeping Nocona!


Congratulations to the Lady Cats Volleyball JV on placing 2nd place out of 12 teams in the HWY 156 tournament in Krum!! They were 3-1 on the day and the 9th played in the JV division and showed a lot of improvement going 1-2!

Several of the Dodd NEHS students joined us to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at the regular monthly board meeting.
Several students and staff members were recognized at last week's board meeting as being the Student or Teacher of the Month.
