A Message from Our School Counselor, Mr. Vander Meer, Regarding Summer School Opportunities
Below is some information regarding Credit Retrieval and summer school. Some Credit Retrieval Courses allow for students to test out of portions of the material that students demonstrate mastery in when they take a pre-test, but all the options will also allow students to complete the entire course as well.
2019 MS/HS Summer School
Somerset Academy Losee K-12 is offering Summer School Online Credit Retrieval. It is through an online company BYU Suite. Somerset Losee used this company during the last summer with much success. There will be a teacher in the classroom at all times to assist and monitor progress.
Although this is a self-paced online course, attendance is still required so that they can benefit from the teacher’s assistance. The student will be in attendance until they complete the course. Absences are not allowed. One absence will withdraw a student from the course and refunds will not be given.

Good Neighbor Reminder
Please adhere to our Good Neighbor Commitment by not allowing your student(s) to remain unattended in the church parking lot. Students are trampling on their landscaping, climbing the trees, and leaving debris throughout the parking lot making their church look untidy. The church has been gracious to allow us to use their lot, let’s not have that privileged revoked. Furthermore, please keep your student(s) safe by not leaving them unattended.
Please enter the carline to drop off your child in the designated unloading zone. Most all of you are following the procedure and the line is moving along swiftly, thank you! However, vehicles have been stopping along Rainbow and dropping off on the side of the road. This causes a safety hazard. For the safety of you and your child, we ask that you join us in following the proper traffic procedures.
