PARCC SCHEDULE
PARCC TESTING WEEK MISC. INFO FOR JR. HIGH
- 7th and 8th grade PARCC testing will be on their Chromebooks. Please begin talking to them now about having them here and charged for testing days. I am disappointed they did not approve the paper testing for them, but I gave it my best shot. Encourage them to continue typing on the written part of the test and not to stop until their time runs out.
- Junior High students will follow the afternoon schedule below.
- Mrs. Trusty and Mrs. Noto will be doing the self portrait art projects with the students as shown on the schedule.
- Everyone else plan afternoon activities/projects with your groups.
- I do not want the afternoons to be filled with killing time.
- Please plan something enjoyable, but also educational (maybe create something, learn a game, how to do something, etc.)
- Please plan projects/activities free of computers as they will have been looking at them all morning.
- If the weather permits, I think an outdoor project or at least 30 minutes of free time some time in the afternoon would be great also.
Label Day
I think it would be neat to do a labeling day in April where we "label" the students. Anyone want to head that up?
