The Great Barrier is an extraordinary Barrier Reef that is home to 1,500 types of fish, 411 types of hard coral, one-third of the world's soft corals, 134 species of sharks and rays, six of the world's seven species of endangered marine turtles, and more than 30 species of marine mammals. The Great Barrier Reef is in Queensland and can be got there by first going to Cairns which is 1961 kilometres away from Sydney and if you were looking at a map and you started in Sydney then you would go North. You can get to the Great Barrier Reef from Cairns on a huge cruise. (The Cairns to Great Barrier Reef way is only one of the ways you can try) The Barrier Reef is so spectacularly big that it is the largest Coral Reef in the world.
In fact the Great Barrier Reef can be actually seen in space!
However The Great Barrier Reef is critically endangered and is very amazing and spectacular so you must go there, though if we don’t protect the Great Barrier Reef it may one day be banned from visitors or even worse: it may one day DISAPPEAR!!!!!!!!! Why would you go there
The reason you would go there is because it is a spectacular place to visit since it is one of the world's natural wonders and contains so much biological life. It is really a spectacular view. Plus when seen from space or birds eye view it looks a bit like like a long blob of aqua toothpaste.
What would you see there???
At the Great Barrier Reef you will see many different types of fish and Corals just in the place you are allowed to go and already they look amazingly beautiful and colorful. There are also many various types of Corals there and they look stupendously enormous (they are).
What would you do there???
At the Great Barrier Reef you can do many things. These things are Snorkeling, diving to the deep where you are allowed to see lot’s of marine creatures detailed ( KIDS NOT ALLOWED ) and obviously eat. The foods are splendid and there are loads of restaurants and bars near the Great Barrier Reef. There is even a food place actually at the Great Barrier Reef.
From all the information I gave you I hope you go to the Great Barrier Reef!
Second is don’t even THINK about chasing the sardines because they twist and loop and split: there just too fast too CATCH!
