Comprehension Skill: Main Idea and Details-the main idea is the most important part of a story. The details give more information about the main idea.

Comprehension Strategy: Summarize-when you summarize a story, you retell the most important parts of it.

Phonics: Short o, -og, -op, -ot

Spelling Words: hop, top, log, hog, hot, lot, stop, frog

Dictation: The dog got off the damp mat. A frog hops on a rock to sit.

Grammar: Nouns are words that name people, places, and things.

High Frequency Words: her, our, they, two

Robust Vocabulary: protect, provide, guide, separate, wild
