MAEIS Weekly Update
THANK YOU PARAS!
A huge shout out to our amazing paraprofessional staff! We're so blessed to have an incredible group of adults supporting our learners! I hope you have an incredible week of celebrating!
GOALS
YES, today's plan was to meet with each one of you to finalize goals. Although I got to spend some time with many of you today, I didn't finish my task. Through the next week or so I'll seek you out if needed and finalize things. Ultimately, we're doing this now so our work in May when we actually have to show our measurement and describe how it went will be much easier!
I LOVE TO READ!
Both MAES and MAIS folks worked on a plan for February's I Love to Read month. Both were challenged with just enough excitement around reading and yet thinking about how to make it easy for teachers. We know there are a TON of things happening in February already, so please watch for information coming out shortly.
REPORT CARDS
Report Cards need to be complete by Jan. 24th at both sites. If you struggle with this, please connect with Kristen, Kylie or Pam.
MAES TAT
THURSDAY, Jan. 25th is TAT at MAES. There are NUMEROUS students we'll be discussing. We're shooting for Kindergarten at 2:45, 1st Grade at 3:00 and 2nd Grade at 3:15. Should you be bringing a student, please make sure TAT paperwork is complete unless students have been part of the process earlier this year.
We will be holding another MAES TAT meeting in the next couple of weeks as well.

WINTER
Yep, here we are in the winter doldrums. It's a bit cold, dreary and we are in the midst of a busy time. So, dig deep, remember school is 1/2 way over, each day is getting longer and although it's cold and dreary-we don't have hurricanes, right?!!
