Art Class Needs
The sixth, seventh and eighth graders will be constructing gingerbread villages for the Christmas season. I am in need of all of the leftover spackle or drywall mud you may have hiding in your basements. I would also welcome any scraps of pink styrofoam insulation as this is what will use to build our structures.
Thank you,
Mrs. Baumhardt, Art Teacher
Boots & Snow Pants for Recess
Please send boots and snow pants with your child if there is snow on the ground and/or in the forecast. Snow pants and boots must be worn in order to play in the snow at recess. Snow pants and boots can stay at school all week long (if you would like), but all will be sent home every Friday for washing.

Kind Assembly
I AM BLESSED
At Wednesday's assembly, seven students were presented with the October Kindness Awards. A photo of the Kindness Award recipients will be in next week's newsletter.
Next, students were introduced to November's bible verse and "I Am" statement: “Out of the fullness of his grace, He has given us one blessing after another.” I AM BLESSED. Students learned about the many blessings God gives us by watching a Thanksgiving skit as well as a short video by Kid President.
Finally, students worked with their buddies to trace and cut out their arm and hand. These "branches" will form a gigantic tree in the hallway. Students finished the assembly by cutting out a leaf and drawing and writing about the blessings in their lives. Leaves will be added to the big tree. Please come check out the giant "BLESSED" tree when you are at school next.

Stopfinder App
for Johnson School Bus riders
Johnson School Bus Service will be using a new parent app, Stopfinder, starting in November. Stopfinder is the easy to use, all-in-one app that allows you to have the most accurate information about your student’s bus schedule at anytime from anywhere. In addition to displaying your student’s transportation information, Stopfinder features a private messaging feature that will allow you to communicate directly with the Campbellsport School Districts Transportation Department.
Please contact the Campbellsport School District Admin or Johnson School Bus with your preferred email address prior to November 10th!
Stopfinder can be downloaded for free from the App Store or Google Play. Stopfinder will require an invite and registration through the district prior to accessing your student’s transportation schedule. Please watch for a Stopfinder invitation between Nov 10 and Nov 17. Please contact Johnson School Bus Service with any questions.
