PTO Holiday Game Night is Tonight!
A Very Special Thank You!
Mr. Robin Winston and Mr. Pat Terrell provide a very special Thanksgiving Day for our BGMS students
BGMS teacher, Mrs. Wendy Eckstein, posted the following thank you to Mr. Winston and Mr. Terrell on the Donors Choose website:
Your generosity is greatly appreciated. We are so excited that you are providing us with a memory that will last a lifetime. Washington, D.C. is a city that allows for a living classroom experience. Your gift is giving my students a souvenir, safety, and warmth as they tour and learn about our great nation.
This idea started with a student who wanted to help his peers be able to afford a hoodie for our trip. He organized other D.C. Travelers to create a proposal to submit to Donors Choose. Our class motto is "What You Do Matters." Your gift to my students displays this motto in action. It is because of wonderful people like you that my students get to directly see kindness in action. I can't thank you enough for caring for my students. You are a blessing to us!
Thanks again for helping our dream become a reality!
With gratitude,
Mrs. Eckstein
LifeBridge Students Head to Downtown Indy!
On Tuesday, December 1, a generous donor provided an exciting adventure for 41 second and third grade Central Elementary students! The students, who attend the after-school program at LifeBridge, were whisked to a downtown Indy luxury hotel in limousines to decorate gingerbread houses. After they finished decorating, each student was provided with a gift card and taken shopping to purchase Christmas gifts for their parents! There wasn't a dry eye among the volunteers who accompanied our students on this memorable trip. Special thanks to the anonymous donor who helped to make the night so special!
