CTE First Semester Exams

Students enrolled in Career and Technical Education (CTE) course exams have been rescheduled for Monday, January 22nd and January 23rd. As always, students should have their fully charged laptop to use for the exam. Mr. Sunding, Ms. Foy, and Ms. Hurley would like to encourage students to do their best and utilize the next week to maximize their learning. The exam counts as 20% of each student's final grade.

AVID Guest Speaker

AVID students welcomed guest speaker Molly Schertzinger on January 12th. She is a personal injury attorney from Riddle & Brantley. The students thoroughly enjoyed listening to her path of how she became an attorney. She had the opportunity to study abroad in Australia before completing law school in the United States. Students were able to learn and ask questions on how and what it takes to be an attorney. She encouraged the students to never give up on their dreams and to persevere through any obstacles and trials they might face. It was such a pleasure to hear Ms. Schertzinger speak about how passionate she is in helping people.

Student Laptops

After a lot of work from our IT department to fix issues related to a virus, student laptops have been re-imaged to remove any potential viral threats. We are in the process of returning them to students. Through this process, we have identified laptops that are in need of repair and are working diligently to fix them.

When students receive their computer they will be able to access the internet at home. Please be mindful that students should not click on links for websites that are not associated with school work, as doing so will increase the risk of additional computer viruses.
